For the Landseer and related dog breeds, pulling work is an excellent activity. It is astonishing for me as a trainer for water work to notice that in many cases, it does not take much time until the dog understands how the pulling works. It seems to me that they somehow restore this ability their ancestors had.
Adhara enjoys pulling the handcart and Saccocart. She also runs with a lot of joy in front of the dog scooter. It's great to watch how enthusiastic Adhara works. Pulling work challenges the whole dog - especially the brain of our four-legged friends. I am very fascinated by this "working mode" of an eager dog; it's almost like looking back at the evolution of races ... a long past century ...
